I find myself spending more time trying to understand the real me and how I intend to spend the rest of my life the past weeks. This happens almost everyday, on my drive to and from work (the only "me" time I can afford these days). There are certain things going on right now which I feel is leading me to step back and think about these things but I rather not blog about it here for fear that the people involved might chance upon this little space I have on the net.
I realized that I'm a passion person. I want to do things that I sincerely have the heart for, and that alone is my motivation to do it with all that I have, no holds barred. If, however, I don't believe in something, I tend to feel stressed out and end up being not my best self. (I know, this is not very positive of me, but it's just how I'm made up.) Whenever I make decisions, it's almost always about what won't go against my principles and beliefs. I'm all for going "back to basics" of what I think ( and know in my heart) is right.
Having known this, I came up with a conclusion that maybe, at this point in my life, I am not where God has prepared me to be truly passionate for. I'm starting to get sad and bitter, to the point of doubting myself. Maybe I need some form of change to validate this more but as of now, I know that I need to take action. And I have to get me to do it sooner than later.

The Gift of An Ordinary Day
This video made me, yet again, more compelled to think of ways I could just stay home and witness how my little dude is every single day. Sent tears to my eyes.
Marcus, please don't grow up so fast. :(

How I Like My Weekends
I love how today unexpectedly turned out.
Hubster was supposed to be on "race leave" from our family this weekend but much to his disappointment, Roxy (his beloved race car) couldn't make it. Therefore, we got to spend a quiet Saturday afternoon as a family.
You see, since Jax moved to his new workplace in faraway Taguig (we live in Sta. Rosa, Laguna - yes he drives to and from work every single day), it has always been a challenge to find time quality bonding time. We only get to have dinner as a family (by that I mean all three of us together) at most thrice a week. We hardly even get to talk about how our day went because by the time the hubby gets home, I'm either too tired, busy working from home, or already asleep. Now typing this is making me feel guilty and sad.
Now you get why I'm happy today, right? I could do this same routine every week if we had to. What I like about it:

- My boys and I were up early, almost at the same time, and Marcus woke up with a really good mood.
- Hubs set up Marcus' inflatable pool and the little dude had so much fun screaming and playing with his cars (yes, he drowned all the hotwheels he could get his hands on) while in the water.
- The boys had some father-son bonding time assembling the Cars2-themed gift from hubby's boss.
- Nap time! I am not a sleep person. No matter how tired or sleepy I am, I'd rather surf the net or watch TV than take an afternoon nap, but I found myself asleep with my boys earlier. I should do this more often. I felt so relaxed when I woke up.
- A long, relaxing bath. Enough said.
- Trip to the grocery. I love how I am now more organized with what to buy with my DIY weekly planner.
- My Serenitea fix in two weeks! Gosh, I missed my Okinawa!
- Me-time. Like now. Since Marcus turned in early and hubby went out, I have time to blog and plan about my future projects. Oooh I wish I have all the time in the world!!!

Random (Typical) Photos
Just want to share some of the random photos of (whoelse) Marcus currently in my phone. I cannot help but smile to myself looking at these (actually, more like cannot imagine where the past two years went) - he's really a grown little boy!
These also show typical scenarios of a bonding time with my little dude...

School Hunt, Take Two
We had the chance to take Marcus to a trial class in another school near our village. Good thing hubby thought of this other option when I was a little bummed that the first school we tried didn't meet my standards. I think this is IT - my little dude's first school!
I like it because it matches my 3 main requirements - proximity, English-speaking teachers, and "scientific" methods.
Let's walk through with photos...

| That's Marcus and his new friend Topher. They're playing with the binomial and trinomial cubes. Pang-Algebra na ang level te! Kahit ako mahihirapan ata gawin ito! |
The teacher's assessment of Marcus at the end of the class is that he has a strong personality and that he's a fast learner. I hope she's just not saying that to talk us into enrolling. Hehe.

Give Me Back My Hair! (and being chemical-free)
I've always had black, shiny, straight, VIRGIN hair. I never had anything done with it, not even a cellophane, color, or hair spa. Modesty aside, "it" is a natural and had been quite a source of envy from my cousins (male & female), friends, and colleagues.
Well, until I got pregnant and had really bad hair fall problem. Actually, it is still happening now and it's becoming frustrating. One of my n@wie sisters recommended trying Human Nature's hair care products so I got myself these last Monday:
I'm now on my 2nd day of use and so far I just noticed that my hair is a little less unruly. (Ewan ko lang if this is just psychological though). I'm still experiencing hair fall but it's ok since the label says it takes about 4 weeks to reduce the hair fall by 80%. I am hoping this will solve my problem because I'm growing my hair long again and I want to get rid of all these "antenna" (as we call it way back in highschool) and irritating bangs soon.
If you want to check out the rest of the products, you can visit their website. They have a wide array of products from facial & lip care, to hand and body care, baby & kids care, even make-up! I also bought the little dude the Citronella Bug Spray to protect him from insect bites and the next time I visit the shop I'm probably getting him the spray sanitizers as well.
This could be the start of my chemical-free products addiction! As their tag line says, to which I'm now becoming a fan of, "only the good". :)
